In Tabariya As-Sham Imam Al Tabarani was born in 260H. Hadiths are narrated by more than 1000 scholars (Muhaditheens). He has travelled extensively to many regions to quench his thirst for knowledge including Syria Haramayn Tayyibayn Yemen Egypt Baghdad Kufa Basra Isfahan etc.

He has written many books on Hadith including Al-Mujam Al-Kabir Al-Mujam Al-Awsat and Al-Mujam As-Saghir.
